The work is never done, and the war is never won. The enemy is poverty, and the wall keeps out the enemy, and we build the wall to keep us free, that’s why we build the wall, we build the wall to keep us free. #nokings in #hadestown

How high is your raid level? Because I would expect at least a 50% fail rate. 😅

Anyone can build a stingray detector for $20 from EFF’s Rayhunter project. I hope these are in heavy use at this point!

Wait, does it show the “individual component price” as $549.99, and the discounted “bundle” price as $599.99?!

You have to go back to 2017 to find a device that won’t run Win11, and anything that old is going to be a massive burden on the power grid. We’re in a new era of super efficient PCs that can run on <10W power, and we need to ditch the power hungry dinosaurs. Or just use Linux… 😏

Speaking from the other side, I recently told my friend it completely threw me off to hear him talking about his period, because in my head he’s just he. The euphoria completely shone out his face!

Maybe, just maybe, when nobody has jobs and butter costs $900/kg, the only thing left for people is escapism? I guess that doesn’t fit neatly into the rich man’s world view.

Feels like a map of TRON. I always thought that world felt more like the insides of a mainframe than of a modern PC.

So good! I did that to an eMac with a busted CRT in the early 2000s too. My very own homemade G4 tower. 😁

My 13 year old did a deep dive on distros and asked me to help him install Mint this past weekend. He’s already had to learn how to do something new and is happily playing his Steam games and learning Rust on it. Zero issues!

If you think they’re following the law, you’re not paying attention. Illegal search and seizure, warrantless forced entry, locking away citizens with no due process, firing live weapons at peaceful protesters; the list doesn’t stop.

Ironic from a man whose first act as PM was a fat handout to his homeowner mates and himself. Seems like taxpayers do owe somebody something, just not the people who need it.

Ohhhh I have a few of those sales resource CDs, and I think I’ve even got that 1999 one in your screenshot. I’ll have a look soon. What’s the best way to archive them?
