Yeah, true. It was a bit of a silly question, really.

Just trying to calculate whether it's worth saving the booster for optimal timing at the dentist or other potential high risk settings later, or if the protection vanes so much that it's smartest to get it asap when a year since last.

Det er i aller beste fall en form for fatalisme.

Med tanke på at Aavitsland så sent som i år har uttalt tillit/kommet til forsvar av både Bhattacharya og Kulldorff (GBD), og at han i jan. 2020 skrev en leder hvor han hevdet at:

Dårligere immunitet ved mindre sykdom

Selv om man ønsker å holde seg frisk, kan lange perioder uten sykdom føre til dårligere immunitet.

– Kan man unngå å bli syk?

– Man kan prøve å utsette tidspunktet for neste episode med korona eller influensa, for eksempel ved å vaksinere seg og holde seg unna andre mennesker, særlig innendørs. Jo lenger man utsetter, jo dårligere immunitet har man neste gang man blir smittet, og da kan sykdommen bli verre. Dette er noe folk får bestemme selv, sier Aavitsland.

So much this. The Norwegian left writes hundreds of articles and hosts discussions and podcasts about the fascist dangers of Trump (understandably), but the one thing they won't touch is the strong Scandinavian influence in public health under RFK Jr., which is really the only place in Norway...

Since 2020, disabled people have been pointing out the rising ease with ableist rhetoric/language, the comfort with which so many people used the r word, the number of people willing to abandon disabled people for some notion of the "normal."
All of it mattered/matters to understand fascism today.

Luckily this view did not decide the initial strategy, contrary to Sweden the NIPH only has an advisory role, and the executive decision lies at the Directorate of Health and the government. Not for lack of trying though.

Norsk lib/venstre-offentlighets pandemiforståelse begrenser seg (som her) til engasjement for velferdsordningene, og det ellers åpenbare: at covid har ført til høyere sykefravær.

At helsemyndighetenes informasjon (og kunnskap) om senfølger er høyst mangelfull, at FHI gir råd om at lange perioder...
