My first solo exhibition opens today! I'm feeling my word for this year, Brave, and it feels like taking a deep breath of fresh crisp air that fully opens the lungs. In the most aligned way, my artist‑coming‑out moment is happening in the places that invited this work: an archive and library.

Art quilting is giving me greater insight and visual vocabulary about memory, lineage, and the quiet ways we stay connected across time. If you’re someone who listens for stories in the seams, I’m sharing these epiphanies alongside my exhibition in collab with Berea College Archives.
