This page is great. I admittedly hadn't seen it which is on me, though I don't know if I'd have even thought to look for it if it wasn't for this post. Would you consider showcasing these new UI in react "case studies" as a talk suggestion?

And this sort of recipe should be more prominent in docs and such

bsky.app/profile/ross...
In that case I would add outside-of-react handlers that supported adding/removing inside-of-react handlers.

I've been here a lot and it sucks

bsky.app/profile/jaso...
in this specific case, I have a piece of hardware sending Web MIDI, and it's got a class wrapping that functionality to receive/send messages

I tried loading the class in useEffect, but ended up w/duplicate instances. loaded it outside the component (which I believe is Not Recommended?) & it worked

Bridging external stateful and/or side effecty things that would be easy to use without react still feels non-obvious and under documented to do in react

I think it’s fair to call it that. I think a big reason python was chosen is that it has pretty decent built in support for implementing computation graphs while keeping the python syntax still feel idiomatic to the language

I wonder if theres some significant correlation between being susceptible to bad AI generated answers and being susceptible to unreliable sources of information online in general

Do you happen to have any resource handy that’s like “enough cloudflare knowledge to feel confident using this template”.

I’ve used R2 and DNS, but haven’t looked into Durable Objects
