Boro fan.
I’m still quite relaxed about it. I’d much rather that we’re patient and get the deals that work for us. Rather than gambling with paying over value. I also think we’ll see some of the youth given a chance this season. Expecting McCormack and McCabe in particular to feature a lot.

Great stuff - I found myself getting into little arguments over there all the time. I’ll I want is to talk about football and music without doom and gloom.

It’s those types of games that we’ve let slip on a consistent basis under Carrick. We didn’t get frustrated and we dug in. Borges and Fry outstanding. Aidan & Hayden thriving, front 4 clicking. Travers solid. Lots to be optimistic about.

Sadly, I feel that way too now. When I was a kid it was absolutely massive. I remember Man United beating Chelsea 4-0 in the final (94 I think) and the build up was on all morning from about 9am until kick off. It’s a shame what it’s become.

He’s having to do/think about too much defending at the moment and that’s just not his game. In January another defensive minding CM is a must imo. I think the club thought Howson would be enough or McCabe’s progression would be further ahead.

The stats suggest so, however Phelan could be an astute appointment.

It works as a podcast too. I listen to quite a few because I’ve got a long commute and a dog that has me out twice a day. I really enjoy Matt’s insight.

Agreed on all parts. I’m an occasional poster that’s been driven away by the fake wannabe intellectuals with superiority complexes.
However there are some great posters and people that use the board on a regular basis where I would genuinely fear for their mental health should the board disappear.

Bristol City have their fanzone bang on with multiple stalls with different beer and food choices. So many fans meet there before and after games.
We have so much space around the stadium and it would bring in so much revenue. I feel we’re missing a trick.

I don’t fancy it at all. Hopefully we can scrape a 1-0.

Agreed. We’re going to have space on the counterattack to exploit, we need pace. Doak, Anf, Burgzorg and Latte Lath are needed for this one. Just a shame that Bangers isn’t fit.

Knowing Boro we’ll batter Leeds and Millwall and then lose to Plymouth and Sheff Wed then beat Burnley.
So let’s be realistic and say 15 points.

Yeah I agree and at full-time my reaction was very much “that’ll do” but now I’m full of what ifs and I’m really itching for the Leeds game. I think the disappointment we feel is a good thing. Our capability in recent games is leading to high standards and expectations.

Whilst I agree with everything you’ve said it’s still quite frustrating. Which I guess is a sign of how far we’ve come in the last month or two.
