I've been on a short fuse all day and really grumpy/snappy. This is usually a prelude to being ill and if it is i shall be furious! I hope it's because I got 9hrs of sleep last night.

Living in my own i love, but this Christmas, it feels a bit down as all my Dec's are boxed ready to go, which apparently will now be in the new year. Its v sparse in here this year!

I am just about recovered from the full frontal brutal love and affection my sisters staffy gave me today! We were both very happy to see each other, though I think I came away with more bruises, licks and kisses!

Just seen what my old taxydermied fish went for at auction this morning...£150! I am stunned. Its been sitting in my garage for 20 odd years!

When your local offers their own made beer (8 different types) for £3.80 a pint, it would be rude not to! Also, a friendly crowd and a fun landlord.....winner!

A good productive day, finished off with the friendly regular grilling by my financial advisor to plan ahead for the future. Now off to see dad and see if I can see why his laptop is misbehaving.

My heart is full after catching up with some old friends from London. Just a shame I had to hear home this evening as could have talked to them for hours. Just shows once things settle down, I need to get out more.

So this week i committed to myself to do do more exercise in addition to walking and found that I am really enjoying Tai Chi. Every day this week so far for at least 15 mins...its a start and my arms know they had some activity!

Took dad out for lunch today, goodness at first he was such a grump! Hopefully mellowed him out and maybe even cheered him up a bit by the time I dropped him off home.
