Debut fantasy author of the Recovery Series, seeking representation. D&D fanatic, husband, father to humans and dogs, and overall hyper-focuser who operates on caffeine and spite.
I’m still waiting on a response from a query I sent in September 😅

I don’t care how many people start to hate The Legend of Drizzt for being mainstream, I have read Bob Salvatore’s complete work front to back at least twice per book and will continue to do it more. He’s the author who put me on my path.

For me it’s the people who don’t normally read a certain genre, having no business picking up a book of that genre, and being pissy / leaving bad reviews when they inevitably don’t like it. You’re choosing to drag down an authors ratings for something you knew damn well you wouldn’t like.

This is unfortunately a fifth-in-series book (it says #2 but you have to read the Ravenhood trilogy first to get the context) but Kate did a phenomenal job of turning what was a side character into the best character.

At least there’s that. Seems everyone I know managed to get something nasty over the holiday break. Another buddy of mine just said his whole extended family passed around pink eye 😬

😱 get well soon!! It may not be worth the knowledge at this point, medicine-wise, but Flu A is rampant right now. And this year’s flu shots were to protect against Flu B

Just heard a relevant saying last night. You need to learn to take care of your body, or it will take care of itself — usually at a less than opportune time

Indeed! Granted, that’s also based on your usage and the types of programs you use. But I was able to get 2 - 3 days even with some 3d modeling mixed in there.

Can confirm, I switched from an ASUS ROG earlier this year because I’ve been a Windows-bro my entire life and ASUS was the only brand I trusted. Made the switch to MacBook Pro at the recommendation of my wife. A single charge lasts me multiple days, as opposed to two hours.

While David GIFs rarely fail me, it didn’t properly convey that I’m anxiously awaiting their response, not that I’m anxious about querying.

This being said, I firmly believe there is a Schitt’s Creek GIF for every situation.

When I say that I felt like I was putting in a Starbucks order, figuring out my genre, I’m not even slightly joking.

Landed firmly in Adult Crossover Dark/Grimdark Fantasy, because it has slight crossover with YA and NA
