Nice work. My mother’s maternal side of the family are pretty easy.. luckily they are linked to minor aristocracy so.. they go way back. My Fathers side more complex..

It’s gone beyond just having different opinions. The right have mobilised into tag teams. To take on reasonable people and human interest. They pour forth to defend and shore up patently vile hot takes from KTGobkins and PMorgan

Also I find family search incredibly frustrating. You can find a lot of stuff but some people are just total dead ends

I know it sounds elitist but.. when I started on there it was exciting because it was full of clever people who knew things and shared knowledge.. then the trolls hijacked it to complain about ethnicity or diversity .. and now it’s the Titanic

I feel for these people. But this was so unsafe.. they could have been swept away. Also the water level had already reached their feet so ..what did they think they were doing? Can’t bail more volume than a flowing river.

Sometimes the only way to kill something off is to let it play out. They voted Trump. They gave him full authority with senate and house.. hand him the matches and the gasoline.. let him burn it down and be hated

I’m a first generation kid. My father and most of his siblings left JA for the UK or USA. I think a couple of sisters stayed.
