I'm way deep into nothing special, riding the crest of a wave breaking just west of Hollywood. Drifter, occasional grifter, tea drinker, Jack Kerouac fan making his way west on the open road.
A dream in motion: disjointed objects float against a calm blue background, creating tension between a serene sky and a frenetic, almost violent foreground. This #StreetArt feels playful on the surface, but the teeth, broken forms, and sharp angles hint at anxiety or struggle beneath the whimsy.

Bold black-and-white energy on brick. This sprawling mural turns a downtown wall into a living maze of characters and patterns, pulling you in closer with every line. #StreetArt like this doesn’t just decorate a neighborhood, it gives it a heartbeat.

Not all #StreetArt comes from a can of paint or an intentional human hand. Sometimes it’s already there… the chipped walls, old fixtures, and sun-faded bricks. Streets and buildings sometimes make their own art without even trying. Images from Asilah, Morocco (that’s my mom at 83 in the last pic).

That performance, Prince came from some other place, not of this earth. “Talent“ doesn’t begin to describe it. There are no words…

Just as nuclear war leaves scars on the earth and people, so too does the legacy of uranium mining on Diné (Navajo) lands - silent, toxic, and deadly. A mural reminds us of these forgotten miners and demands justice and healing for communities still suffering from the fallout. #MuralMonday
