Say what you will about Bamford’s recent struggles (I can safely say I’ve complained at times about him) but I do feel the way he has been treated this summer has been a touch harsh for someone who was so instrumental to our recent history / success under Bielsa. Good luck Bamford #LUFC

The result we all feared but also expected. Piroe and Gruev for me aren’t up to PL. Piroe didn’t hold the ball up enough to relieve pressure and Gruev with too many loose passes to then add more pressure. Felt Gudmunsson and Rodon played well but tactics were wrong for me ultimately #LUFC
