One of the largest lenses ever made. 1.6 meters in diameter. Made in Tucson, Arizona, it's now in Chile at the Rubin Observatory.

A well-known scene from a 1994 film was shot here. A few years ago, so many people began stopping here to take photos recreating that scene that it became dangerous. Now scenic turnouts have been built, the speed limit dropped to 45, and signs erected proclaiming "Forrest Gump Hill."
