In the phrase 'kith and kin' we all know 'kin' means relatives, and 'kith' does too, sort of. But it also means 'land', and 'knowledge'. So we're not just rooted by our people, but also by our landscape. This is my local woodland. I feel it deeply, daily, and I know it well. My kith. What's yours?

I thought I'd share a couple of my very own beloved fuck-ups. I make pots right, and I was running some tests.

Fuck-up 1: the glaze ran everywhere! I must have mixed it wrong.

Fuck-up 2: I took the tests out while the kiln was hot, and put them on a heat matt and burned it to heck. It smoked! Fun.
