Atlanta, Long Beach, San Diego, Las Vegas, now exiled in Texas. Artist and set fee real estate junkie. Married to Mike W (name withheld to protect the innocent).
Ten years ago today (4/24/15), Mike and I went to the House Without a Key at Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki, drank Mai-Tais, ate homemade potato chips, proposed to one another and exchanged rings. Fearing a change in the law, we married in December, 2016, just before the world went crazy.

Watching the big 50501 rallies around the country reminded me of the late 60s and protests against the War in Vietnam. Here are a few snaps I took of an event in 1970.

Vincent Gardenia in 'Little Murders' (1971) One of my favorite movies, written by Jules Feiffer. Eliott Gould stars but it's the character actors who steal the show: Elizabeth Wilson, Marcia Rodd, Doris Roberts, Alan Arkin and Donald Sutherland

Here's another photo from 1970. I learned how to trick the Leica into taking double exposures and used it a lot. This is a statue in Piedmont Park: The Triumph of Peace (1911). It has a Confederacy-related origin and so, it has been a source of controversy

4/8/1970 The Allman Brothers play in the Dekalb Colege GA gym. Here is a photo I shot of Duane Allman that night, plus two of my weird double-exposure-in-the-round photos of one of the free Piedmont Park shows the year before
