If you're not aware, Bluesky is marking all of your posts as "rude" and I have to dig around to even see them and reply to them. It's very annoying.

Liberals and more moderate people started calling anyone who defended the Soviet military occupation of Hungary in '56 a "tankie" (for sending in the tanks). This criticism is debunked by the fact that we now know they were 100% correct to do so. The Hungarian (counter)revolution was CIA sponsored.

The term "tankie" was debunked almost a year ago now when Trump released those "JFK files" and in them was evidence that the Hungarian "freedom fighters" were in fact a color revolution, just like the "tankies" claimed they were.

A lot of conservative humor is that, but I agree with Christman that a lot of it is also just them getting angry before they can even finish making a joke, and just yelling about how much they hate someone.
