When another strode across with some purpose and told us we ‘shouldn’t be there’ and would have to be arrested for trespassing. After I calmly explained he stood down and we were finally escorted outside to celebrate the semi final win. Mick was too unwell to go to the final so I went in his place.

As thoughts turn to the FA Cup semi final at Wembley on Saturday, I remember my late friend Mick who I went to the last semi final with in 2015 and sadly passed away not long after. Because Mick was unwell and had mobility issues, he needed to use lifts to get around Wembley…
