Tonight is just another example that ICE picked the wrong city to mess with.

Our city is under siege and these are attacks on all Chicagoans no matter your background. 

But they will never break our resolve and I've never been more proud to be from a city that is united in standing up against tyranny.

Last week I had another parent ask me how I can help stop masked men with AR-15s from terrorizing their kids' schools. I've heard from a teacher about ICE shining lights into classrooms & it's incredibly dystopian to have to do school watches to protect kids from your own government with a whistle.

Parents of the daycare talked to us about how they don't know what to tell their kids after a day from hell. It was heartbreaking to hear while other small children at the protest ran around playing, with one even asking a speaker how they can help stop this.
