This is an interesting opening to a lot of potential conversations.
Externally focused cruelty can be memetic but the same is true of internally focused cruelty and ascetism (paging Nietzsche). "No pain no gain" is an old saw and often wrong, particularly in a culture that turns everything to 11.

Obviously the Trump administration intentionally misleads by framing the terrorism as strictly Muslim on Christian violence, ignoring that other Muslims are often the victims. But it feeds the culture war at home.

If DHS can just say no and bye bye you, then we’re not really operating within the rule of law atm
so hang on they can just deport citizens now? they'll just claim your passport is fake, birth certificate is fake, etc?
