I went to China also to fight mummies. There's a lot of mummies to fight in this world. The terra cotta army is so freaking cool. The scale is mind-blowing.

I went to the British Museum in 2012 to fight mummies specifically! Sadly, none had arisen so I just looked at the Rosetta Stone, Elgin marbles, and other looted items.

One of my issues with Returns is just the awfulness of some of the visual effects. The scorpion, for instance. The original had much better effects and it bugged me that the sequel had such less quality. Totally excited for a new one!!!!

but one of my fave bad random actor action figures is Denis Leary as Edgar Friendly from Demolition Man. The figure is truly a wonder for the ages, probably sculpted by the cousin of the guy who did the Nedry figure. "You know what Friendly needs?" "What?" "Less clothes." *rips off pants*

great list! i remember those Battlefield Earth action figures in the discount bins at TRU for ages. i felt bad for whatever kid was whining about not getting a toy while shopping for a birthday gift & their parent grabbed them one of these. it's your very own John Travolta dressed as Jason Momoa!
