Cleaned out the clothes drawers and closet and made a big donate pile. Also put the summer stuff away until next spring. Sigh.

The overnight 5cm of snow on Toronto that turned to slush this morning is now rapidly disappearing this afternoon thanks to rain.

Next weekend is going to be epic Formula 1 drama. What a race. What a gaffe from McLaren. #f1

Ran around the neighbourhood today instead of with the boys since it snowed and none of us wanted to drive downtown. And half the group is out of town. Held strong as a member of #teamshorts. Probably the last Sunday of that. www.strava.com/activities/1...

No group run this morning because reasons, so it was a solo slog through slushy sidewalks. Strong headwind on the way back and rain and ice pellets. Oh, hello winter. | Strava

You can’t ride them yet, but Line 5 and 6 are starting to appear on the maps on the subway. #ttc #itshappening

Black Friday is a good day to look at your subscriptions and make some choices about what stays and what goes. It's also a good day to consider supporting things you've been using on a free plan up to now.

Meeting up with a friend I haven't seen in like 20+ years this afternoon. She's become a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author since then. No biggie.

Excitement on our street today. Went out for my run and Toronto Hydro is replacing a leaning hydro pole about 8 houses down. No outage for us, but the street is completely blocked since noon now.

When I am in the office, the biggest thing I miss is my Ember mug. I’m so used to my coffee being the perfect temperature from first to last sip. Coffee gets cold here. ☕️❄️😞

The last two episodes of The Town with James Cameron as guest were super fantastic. Lots of topics covered. Even if you aren’t a film buff, it’s worth a listen.

GO Train is more like STOP Train, amirite? Let’s sit outside Union every day because of “congestion”.

As is tradition, we ran up to the start of the Toronto Santa Claus Parade this morning and checked out the floats. Fun run, nice weather and good company. www.strava.com/activities/1... #runsky #strava #runto

Last of the leaves are bagged, deck stuff put away to the season, outdoor cushions are tucked away in the basement. Next up…hanging the Christmas lights.

There's 90 minutes I'll never get back. We were not stripping spaces on create account for admin usernames, but then we were stripping spaces on the login page. An admin was created with a leading space, but it was impossible to log in even if we included the leading space.

Another fail for SpaceX Starship. Booster 18 looks like it was destroyed during a test overnight. I'm sure the fanboys will tell us this is all part of the iterative process.

GO trains into and out of Union are a sad joke at this point. Literal walking speed from the Don River to the CN Tower. Just visit any European city to see that the bottleneck that is the Union rail corridor is the biggest issue with regional transit in our city.

Instead of the usual run at lunch today, I raked and bagged the leaves in the yard. Kind of needed to be done since we have yard waste pickup this Thursday and then not again until Dec. 4 which might be too late.

@tsnofficial.bsky.social y'all planning on fixing these audio dropouts and video going to black frequently? Kind of tough to follow the game when you can't broadcast it reliably.

TSN is not having a good night. Frequent audio glitches, video goes black all the time. Maybe we should give it back to CBC? #greycup

Grey Cup time. I don't really care who wins, but hopefully it'll be another CFL classic. #greycup

Latest update to Comet from Perplexity adds automatic picture-in-picture for videos. That was always a feature I liked on Arc. Glad to have it with Comet now too.
