Whoever told Trump to make his statement was either ignorant or intentionally lied to create a false narrative.

Given the background information, this does not present itself as an act of terror. It appears to be an act of hurt over what the individual saw as a betrayal by the US government, of promises made. It was, effectively, personal, no ideological.

Trump? WTF!!! Yessa masta! Anything ya want masta! Oh, you have a little girl or boy for me to play with? Thankya masta!

Trump doesn't seem to have the balls that the rest of us have, just like when we kicked the shit out of Hitler and his friends. But then, we are and have friends, and nobody screws with our friends!
Russia doesn't scare us! Think otherwise? Look at Patton! Ready to take them on too!

There is no business deal! There is no turning our backs. We are not cowards! We will stomp the ever living shit out of you and paint a sign on your forehead saying "don't come back"! Because the only "business" that we have with you is an ass whoopin!

We gave our word to have your back, we damned well meant it! It doesn't matter that they are thousands of miles away. We give our word, then we're going to throw down and you will regret having pissed us off!

And the Republican in the mix, Trump, plays the damned cowards game, and kneels! Kneels! I grew up a Republican. I served in the US Navy. Every last person that I grew up with, lived near us, this would have been an instant fight.

Back home, such a thing meant war. Where a breach of honor means a fight, this means a war like no other. To be blunt here, I would have expected a Democrat to find a way to make peace. Instead, they fought back.

When those invaders kill you, kidnap your children, this is a clear crime and violation of your word. Russia signed the agreement, Putin broke it, and Trump wants to sell half of Ukraine to Russia while getting the other half as a trade deal under threat!

Worse yet, Trump has treated it all as a business deal. Let me remind you, folks, that if an armed intruder invades your home and tries to take possession of it, then it isn't a business deal. It is a crime!

A NATO or UN peacekeeping mission would also have had the same effect. But Trump selling out Ukraine after this nation gave it's word, is cowardly at the least. Treason at the worst.
Instead, Trump caters to Putin without care for our nation.

Doing so, under the banner of peacekeeping, would have ended the situation almost immediately, and without bloodshed.
Biden and Trump could have also made such a move, with the same results. Peace and no land grabs.

And don't get me wrong, Trump isn't alone in this. Biden carries some of the blame as well. And so does Obama. When Russia first invaded and tried to take Crimea, Obama should have moved US forces into Ukraine.

Is this who we are now, under Trump? Cowards, murderers, child nappers? Back home, in the heart of a red state, those would be fighting words. A serious, blood drawing fight.

And if it is ever permitted, the word and trust of the nation is null and void. It makes every American a liar and a cheat. Cowards.
Harsh words, but true nonetheless. Tens of thousands of innocent lives, that we promised to aid and protect, have been lost. Including children!

The very idea that Trump, the current sitting POTUS, feels that he can renege upon a promise by the American People is unacceptable. The honor and integrity of the entire nation cannot be tossed aside by the whims of the current seat warmer.
