Meritage cited a deactivation notice it said its customers received June 4 via email from SunPower CEO T.J. Rodgers.

Rodgers’ email told customers that Meritage has refused to pay SunPower and it can’t “continue to use our shareholder’s money to pay Meritage’s bills,” according to a court exhibit.
