Why can they sometimes discuss how they got it wrong and cancel the penalty and then other times like this, they are just like... Hands are tied?

I don't mean this in a flippant way, but beyond journalists needing something to write about why do we NEED to know specifics about injuries?
Me as a fan, other than curiosity, what does it matter if Tanev for example is hurt with X or Y?

Fundamentally, the only income you have should come from the salary you make in office, and then you have a moratorium on trading or entering private business as a consultant for a set period of time after your term ends. Politics is supposed to be public service, not a means to make a ton of profit

I agree. Investments/trading should not be allowed at any level of politics. Link salary to medium income of riding or district, yes, but I think a investment/trading ban would do more to curb corruption, and wouldn't attract the same kind of individuals anymore.

What level of government are we talking here? I think that may be helpful on more local politics, but those in Congress/Parliament aren't making the bulk of their money via their salary.
Not saying we shouldn't do that of course, but for the big names, I don't think that would change too much.

It isn't about making money off of people entering these parks. I suspect it is more so that they can point to the decreased numbers, say people aren't using the space, and sell the land to private interests.

And as far as forgetting their rules, I am talking about things like when she stops the plane and runs in front of the other plane to stop it from taking off.
If she told the people flying her plane to stop, the people on the second plane would already know, and stop without her needing to block it

It struck me as being about feeling like the only person that is struggling when it feels like everyone else is thriving - a feeling we get from seeing people only post their best times on social media. About feeling like a total outsider - alienation.
