Just here to listen.
Noticed this. A way for the officials to control the intensity of the game?
When nothing of note happens, they can release pressure from the team they prefer to win by holding the flag up. For the opponent, they'll leave it down and hope for a corner or free kick to be given and it's never checked.

Not if you play against Liverpool. They flag, even when you're not offside.

Sync the game to the arsenal app commentary. You'll never have to worry about them again.

Sync the match with the commentary on the Arsenal app. You never have to listen to their bullshit ever again.

Justin Kluivert climbing all.over the back of Zubimendi. No card.

Make it up as they go along. Yep, was shouting at the TV for the pen.

Strange to think that this run of games should come together. Who planned this? And then you start to wonder.

Yes, I am a very paranoid Arsenal supporter.

The barge for the second Newcastle goal was something. Shoving in the back seems to be a thing that you are allowed to do now?
Then the referee looking straight at Dunk going full starfish, saving the ball with both hands. Even though it was overturned, it should never have needed the review.
Jokers

Well the referees have decided to stop giving Arsenal corners, so we have had to find other ways to score...

He even winced when the tackle went in. Dick.

New York this Christmas. Though it'd be great for the family of 3 to go skating at the Rockefeller. Had a quick look and it said that prices were from $50pp.

Thought it was expensive, but went to book, as an experience. The price for 3 was $510, without skates. 😬

Rip-off America in all its glory.

This was a tactic used by Chelsea last week, Sunderland, Newcastle and Spurs, before that too. Never enough to give a free kick, but enough that the player will fall over or will have slowed his run forward enough that they are caught by someone else. The opposition, it's a free kick immediately
December 6, 2025 at 1:32 PM
As a forward you would have been one of those defenders that annoyed me then 😁
December 1, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Seems to be a tactic for teams playing against us. They push/trip a player, just after they release the ball, though nothing too sinister. The referee will then wave then play on, as we have an 'advantage'. The majority of the time, we don't have the numbers to continue the attack and it fizzles out
December 1, 2025 at 6:50 PM
The linesman is looking directly at it too. He did nothing.

Did you find it weird, that Anthony Taylor decided to dish out 6 yellow cards from 13 fouls, when prior to this match, we had received only 12 yellow cards, in 12 games? The majority of cards, to our defensive players, all in the first half? Why?

Thought that at the time. The one chance where he could have an effort on goal; he chose to go down. Some things never change. The guy, 'spits when he talks'... Was never Arsenal material.
November 28, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Yep, when I think back. I can barely remember him missing the target ever. Contested headers, maybe. But after that?
November 7, 2025 at 8:00 AM
Of course he meant it. Clear penalty.
November 4, 2025 at 6:52 PM
He had his hand there for one reason and one reason only. To block the ball going towards the net. He thought he'd be clever and got caught out.

If it were an Arsenal player, I'd be asking why my defender had his arm in the air like that. This should be a penalty every day of the week.
November 4, 2025 at 6:51 PM
Clear pen. His hand was in a completely unnatural position. He made himself bigger and stopped the ball going towards the net. You could even argue he moved his hand into the path of the ball. He knew exactly what he was at.

Maybe Liverpool should play four centre backs?

Yes and especially when you see their fellow professionals giving them a little shove too, toward these dangerous pitch surroundings.

In the age of VAR, these pushes should be punished with a red card for endangering your opponent. Hopefully something will be implemented.
