Finally watched DUNE, Part 2 last night. Enjoyed it as a spectacle. But Chalamet’s evolution into an antihero never felt organic. It was chalked up to mysticism, etc etc. Like many visual directors, Villenueve struggles trying to create real-feeling characters. They’re archetypes.
