ALVR with PSVR 2 Sense Controllers really work together smoothly. Half-Life: Alyx looks great. I was using the Surreal Touch controllers with Surreal Link which I still like for many reasons but without system level integration I think they need to be retired unfortunately.

After using the Backbone Pro more, I completely see the reason for Apple’s Game app. It’s really designed for this.

Backbone Pro is also very well made. Surprised by the app for managing it, connecting to different devices and integration with the controller.

They can be viewed in the Photos app and yea Panoramas through the Photos Widget are trippy. Like looking through a window.

Oh and they’re not spatial (stereo)(iPhone panoramas) nor can they be converted to a spatial photo or scene (at least through Photos).

Not yet. Hopefully someday. iPhone Panoramas is another format I’m revisiting. Panoramas I took from 2016 on iPhone 6S hold up. Various settings today on a iPhone Pro models can be 360° (or really close to it) but not spherical ofc.
