1949, my first day in school. The entire school was marched into a basement basketball court that served as a bomb shelter. We learned that Russia could bomb us. A classmate was a submariner fighting Russians under the sea. Now Republicans tell us that Russia is a friend. I don't believe them.

Our home flies a Ukrainian flag. Putin wants Alaska & Canada. We fight him in Ukraine or on our border. I know submariners. There was a Cold War except for submariners who fought Russian submarines. Putin is attacking inside the USA. It’s called asymmetric warfare. cepa.org/comprehensiv...
