Maybe the reason that no alien civilizations ever make contact with each other is because before they can do so each one invents AGI which ends up killing all the people, and the AGI doesn't want any other alien AGIs knowing that it exists, so it doesn't communicate.

Just finished watching season 2 of #Arcane. It was a bit more "wtf" and "really?" than season 1 (perhaps a lot more) but still very VERY good. I'm not a huge anime fan, but the art style + the music + voice acting worked perfectly together. I honestly thought it could have ended after S1 though.

Please look up your representative and ask if they would support legislation which would make it illegal for a company to raise the price of any product more than once per any 24-hour period of time.

The loneliness epidemic is a serious thing. I just had an old guy message me based on a fashion photo service ad I placed on Facebook. I thought maybe he was pranking me when he asked "if there was anyone around to chat" but apparently he really is just looking for someone to talk to. :(

It was cool having my photo displayed in the gallery of the Edmonds Arts Festival, even if it didn't sell (it looked like most of the art didn't sell).

I was going to work on yesterday's pictures, but I got a notice that I have to move the Corvette so they can repaint parking lines. Tried to jump - no go. I think my cables are bad. May need to tow. #thisiswhyicantgetstuffdone #theresalwayssomething

Me and my intern set up another portrait shoot, this time at an industry meeting at the Cedar Creek Memory Care facility in Edmonds. I think we shot about 14 people. Next time I'm going to try a different setup - something less dramatic.

I took headshots of 30 people at that latest morning meeting of the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, and got invited to set up another headshot photo booth at a different event next week. I also have an intern from Edmonds College who will start assisting me there.

Weekly update: Attended the Photo Creators Conference in AZ. Experience was a mixed bag. Got offered a job doing test proctoring at Boeing. Did a ribbon-cutting shoot for a local restaurant. Had a belated mother's day lunch with mom.

I don't mean to throw shade, but, someone needs to teach Arizona how to build a mountain. These things are not pretty. Even Utah's rocky mountains looked interesting.

I thought Andor S2 Ep1-3 was good... could have been better though. Some bad green-screen, I thought. Jarring scene transitions (not in a good way). Some mediocre acting. But still better than any other Star Wars shows.
