Steam locomotive Adler, the first regularly scheduled passenger train service in Germany circa 1835.

Finally finished the 1830 train project. Most parts were designed in freecad, printed on a Neptune 3 pro. I didn’t have blueprints only a collection of images but it’s mostly to scale. The engineer and fireman started as 3in luftwaff officers from the junk drawer.

A half log crosstie, cause that’s how they rolled in 1831🪵

Found some to-scale figures in the parts bin.Wont be using them in the final model but it does make a hilarious anachronism. 😄

Getting the 3D printer ready for remote operation. Webcam installed. Interface with OctoPrint coming.
