He was a very Pennsylvania-coded asshole.

I mean, all that anyone has to do is watch any Fetterman interview/media appearance from 2021 or earlier.

He was a completely different person then.

Maybe if she switched over to huffing Mr. Sketch, she'd be a pleasant human being!

I thought Wiles was supposed to be "the sane one" among Trump's inner circle...🤦‍♂️

I would sure love to see Kris Kobach lose the AG job in 2026.

Becase misogyny was just as relevant in 2024 as it was in 2016 (if not more so).

I've been cautiously optimistic on this one ever since two Democrats split >53% of the first-round vote. Let's win this!

I'm cautiously optimistic. Two Democrats (Higgins and Ken Russell) taking >53% in the first round was a good sign, right?

I can at least take cold comfort in the fact that Tapper's hit book didn't sell well.

Even though I certainly wouldn't vote for any of them, I have far more (albeit grudging) respect for True Believers like Winsome Earle-Sears, Ron Johnson, Rand Paul etc. than I do for expediency-chasing shapeshifters.

The undue veneration of Saint Charles seemed to end rather quickly once people simply started quoting him verbatim.

HIs greatest political asset was always his name, but that didn't mean much in 2024 (the ancestral Democrats who revered Bob Sr. had mostly either died or gone full MAGA by then). He was never great at campaigning.

That said, I like the guy. Voted for him for treasurer in '04 and Senate x3.

It will largely come down to how toxic Trump (or Vance) is by November 2026, methinks.

Casey never had a difficult or competitive race, and it showed.

2006: A ham sandwich could have defeated Santorum
2012: Casey barely campaigned, won underwhelmingly against a Tea Party nobody
2018: Comfortable blue year, Wolf coattails

He was caught napping by McCormick's late mini-surge.
