Important to note that they are reliant on Russian gas. Not North American gas. Plus North America has strict environmental regulations so the gas is better for the climate.

Crazy to think something similar to this will happen to our sun eventually. Yet our species dedicates many of its resources and gains most of its innovation through conflict be it soft or hard power.

All the people sent there are either Salvadoran or Venezuelan. Venezuela won’t take their criminals back. Fighting for them to be let loose in the US is just the talking point Vance needs to win in 28.

What do you expect them to do? Fly down to El Salvador and kidnap a citizen of El Salvador just to fly him back to be deported again in a month with the proper forms filled out this time? Nobody is going to do anything.
