I forgot! Search engines! StartPage is a very easy drop-in replacment for Google. They are owned by an ad company, but so far they've done nothing wrong AFAIK. There's also @mojeek.com & Ecosia which are both pretty good. There's the metasearch engine SearxNG (most private) and the paid option Kagi.

2nd part is for Photo storage! Ente and Stingle are great for people who want an easy replacment for iCloud Photos/Google Photos. Immich is amazing if you want the AI features of Google Photos privately, but you have to run Immich locally on your computer. I highly recommend Immich if you can tho.

Cloud replacements! This'll be a 2-parter. For general file storage, I would recommend Proton Drive, or for the adventurer self-hosting Nextcloud! There are some nextcloud providers that host for you, but research them before signing up! They may not be hosting in good faith.

Email! There's Proton Mail which is free, or Tutanota and Mailbox.org which are paid. They're are great, although I've only ever used Proton. They've all got amazing Privacy Policies, and won't use your emails to trail AI models.

Now, for Google-adjacent apps. Starting, we'll go for Browsers. LibreWolf on Desktop (Windows/Mac/Linux/BSD), IronFox for Android, and SnowHaze for iOS*. LibreWolf/IronFox mirror eachother in that they are built upon Firefox (not chromium like most browsers), and they have privacy by default (1/?)
