I don't have a gotek but the end goal is to write some actual floppies to boot on the 5150. So, I don't think emulation is going to work for that. I need something that can write a 360K image. I have 5.25 drives on order. Hopefully, at least one works.

Yeah. It would be quite a feat. There were definitely some traces lifted and I'm pretty sure the motor burning up was the magic smoke generator.

Sadly both my 5.25 floppy drives died today. One was my fault when I let out the magic smoke. 😐
I may try to write some other interesting programs when the replacementa arrive.

It works similarly on the fediverse side. You can follow the bridge account on the fediverse side and then bsky users can follow that account via an alias.
There is some fidelity loss as the platforms do things differently.
But replies and likes and such should work both directions.

As I understand it, if your account follows the bridge account on the bsky side, fediverse users can follow your account via a bridge alias. At that point the bridge will consume your posts and forward them to any AP servers that have subscribed (similar to the way other fediverse follows work).
