I do like that it does something different and brings some new ideas and visuals to the table. It's just that story and character wise, that 78 version is a tough, tough act to follow.

I watched the Abel Ferrara version of Body Snatchers the other day, and I still don't really know what to think of it at all. It's one of those movies where the ideas are super interesting but the over all parts don't mesh terribly well. At least for me as a viewer.
