I really like cooking, but beyond tweaking flavours/seasonings or timings of a recipe I'm not very good at experimenting. And I think there will be lots of experimenting! I wish I could be one of those people who just pick 4 things out the fridge and throw them together

What puts me off though might be how unpredictable it is though because of the warm up and release time for the steam? How do you time your mash?

If I had more space in this kitchen I'd have brought an instant pot by now! In my head I'd use it for everything from poached eggs and steamed veg to currys or a salmon broccoli thing. But can convert all my slow cooker recipes with AI... Maybe make like Biryani's?

Last night was particularly challenging because of the threat of fireworks messing everything up! I have considered reverting to napping myself but so far we haven't needed it!

I think you worry about passing on certain traits (which I think this is a relatively good one for the world if not for yourself) Vs doubling them and making them even worse. If I'm like this, and my dad wasn't, does that mean my child won't be? Or will they be even worse then me?

The age where they can understand you but not talking back is really strange - cause you never really know what they're thinking

But I'm the kind of guy who would go without something I want because I see other people want it - or hurry up to finish with something if there is a queue behind me 😭
