We also have a 2017 Ioniq BEV at 168K. We use our Volt for long-distance trips (e.g., the Maritimes) as well as for longer trips within southern Ontario where DC fast chargers are sparse (i.e., everywhere except the 400/401 corridors). If only we had Quebec-level charging infrastructure...

I've heard that corporate fleet PHEVs are particularly bad because there's no incentive for an employee to plug in. However, most people I know who do own one will plug it in to save money. Our 2017 Volt is approaching 200K on the odometer and has averaged 3.2 L/100km over its lifetime.
