And putting a cap on their games will retrain them to make better games. If they release AI slop, it won't sell enough and they lose millions. Forcing them to create better quality games in the end just to make ends meet.

Also, people are still buying games you don't like. Again. What you think is bad and what the world thinks is bad are 2 completely different things. If you can't do basic research into a game to see if you like it first you don't get to complain about prices. Research or fail. Simple as that.

Then that ends up hurting the company not the consumer. If less people like it, less people buy it, and then they don't make their money back. Which will then make companies try harder to impress us, creating better games. It's a solid strategy backed by analysis based evidence.

"Bad" is subjective. 300k people said Dragon Age Veilguard was trash, 300k other people said it was their favorite game. What you consider bad could be another group's new favorite. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone doesn't like it. Research before you buy, not after.

The solution needs to be mandated cost control where you are only allowed to charge a small percentage of what the company paid to make the game. Something like 1 or 2%, so a 100m game would cost about $50 and make their money back after 2m sales, which for a 100m AAA game is like.. 2-3 months

Play ReFantazio. Same team, with a similar class system where you can level up certain forms and then unlock new ones by leveling up 2 different builds.

I deal with it constantly having 2 kids in the house. I've got a backlog of video games and a TON of writing I have to catch up on but every time I'm ready to sit down and do it I gotta go change a butt or take someone to an event. I've been fully improv in my Daggerheart campaign for like 3 months.

Oh yeah for sure. But unfortunately it's a legal freedom of speech thing since he wasn't specifically targeting anyone. Not that the police would do anything about it if he did. I can think of about 10 influencers whose whole channel is instigating people. And they get away with it every time.
