Know someone who could use a 2D/3D Tech Artist, Game Dev, or Designer?

A job I needed to get us through winter had its funding cut. I need to find work ASAP!

What I do:
- Unity/Godot dev
- Shaders/VFX
- Proc-gen and game systems
- Low-poly 3D/pixel art
- PC, Switch, AR/VR, and web

Please boost!

Had an issue in Unreal Engine where the location of actors attached to other actors was, for literally no reason, set to incorrect relative values in the attached actors. The only workaround that works is hard-resetting their relative position to zero on start. I would love a better solution.

I get to work with some of the most talented people and it is absurd.

Marvel Rivals is imbalanced and unfair. It is fun.
I'm hoping that Marvel Rivals gives me the same imbalanced arcade-shooter gameplay that Overwatch did on launch.

I don't want the game to be fair. I want the game to be fun.

Sometimes I miss writing down all of my to-do's on post-it-notes, but then I remember my giant wall of to-do's I had at my last apartment and stop missing it.

Heretic was delightful. It was funny on purpose and scary on purpose.

Offset attacks in Monster Hunter Wilds give me more dopamine than anything else ever has in Monster Hunter.

I have a tough time relating to folks that mod a game before they've even played it. I don't think you should salt your food before tasting it.

Hot tip for co-op games in Unreal Engine where you don't care about balance and just want the clients to not feel stuttery when they have high-ping:

Try checking the CharacterMovement's "Server Accept Client Authoritative Position" box. The other checkbox is cool, too, but breaks some things.

The "lock-in" pendulum is going to swing back and people are going to get into what they call "unlock-maxxing" where they try to think as little as possible.

They're going to reverse-engineer meditation.

Nothing brings me greater joy than geeking out over adding Soulslike mechanics to a game that has no right to include them.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is a soulslike.

Mareep would be such a good partner Pokémon. Soft and huggable and can charge your phone.

If making videos gave me the same dopamine rush as making stuff work in a video game, I'd probably go back to doing that.
