The little pony is from Stonington, Connecticut because this is the book I started, and wrote most of, while on residency at the James Merrill House in November, writing everyday in the Stonington Free Library

Nope. I don’t like animals. I’ve met a lot of them in my time and never once felt any compulsion to make friends with one.
