This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

This is a bigger issue than people realize. Not just jobs lost. But their families losing benefits. Landlords losing tenants. Cities and towns losing revenue. This is how recessions start

Ready Fire Aim is no way to govern.
More accurate, fewer words;

"There are plenty of contractors going under".

A friend furloughed 75% of staff (furlough w/paying for health insurance for three months), 50% exec pay cut, 25% rest of staff to keep as many people w/salary.

PS: Wasn't 18F a government office, not a contractor.

"If the GOP could pull Trump’s dick out of their mouths long enough for the oxygen to return to their brains, they might see how batshit crazy it is to run a govt like this... But that would require a spine and these Republicans have the collective courage of a baby deer caught in a 6-lane highway."

My bet is that the Musk Rats chewing on our Treasury files are also collecting material from Trump’s first term. This stuff can easily be massaged into a gigantic scandal, as we have seen. As long as Trump gives what he wants, Trump is safe. If not, not.

Republicans are out in force on television telling the American people that the CFPB was corrupt. Democrats need to get the F out there and refute them. Tell the people about specific cases in which the CFPB protected their rights/money. Do not just say it protects consumers bring receipts & repeat!

Democrat leaders should be creating a spectacle every single day. They should be personalizing the hurt that Musk is causing! Make real Americans like ourselves see and feel what he is doing. He and his MuskRATS are working OT nonstop to move fast and break things before it’s too late to stop them.

Our Democratic Congress members should be working 24/7 to save our democracy. Time is of the essence. We are in a crisis. Where are there bull horns that should be screaming every day to the American public about what’s happening to our democracy!?!??!??? They’re taking a four day weekend!! Lame!!!

This is correct.
So Trump hurt America's relationship with Canada and made markets wobble all to "get" Canada to do things Canada had announced back in December in coordination with the Biden administration, do I have that right?

Remember when Trump called for "termination" of the Constitution in 2022?
The New York Times played it on Page 13.
Now that Trump's "termination" is happening, I wonder if the Times' editors have any regrets for years of normalization and "both sides" framing that comforted the would-be dictator.

A huge problem right now is that the media is credulously reporting that so many things Trump is doing by EO/edict/OMB or OPM memo is just the end of the matter, that he can do it by fiat.

That is not true.
