Hello! We'll be having a quiet Christmas here too, once I finish work today. Mum is more or less stuck in bed now and MiL isn't interested in celebrating since FiL died in 2020. Hope you both have a peaceful time.

Sometimes think care company enjoy taking away mum's choices. And if I hear 'aw, bless!' one more time when I'm explaining what she wants, well... 🤬😤

Much the same, thanks. Mum is now unable to stand and needs a hoist. Just had huge battle with care company about using a frame to lift the blankets off her bed: "it has to be assessed by the OTs" - no it didn't. But I managed to get away to a yoga retreat at the beginning of the month, lovely 😊

I got this one, despite the somewhat odd name! Uses pods or ground coffee and makes an espresso in about 5 minutes with cold water. I use pods when travelling as it's easier to manage.

Totally. I have a portable espresso machine, just in case. Charges by USB C cable so can charge up in the car.

He eats flowers too so I don't buy them any more. Since we got the cats several bath plugs, a large wooden pencil and a miniature cactus have been carried off never to be seen again.

One of ours ate an antidepressant. Luckily he only got a few off the micro pills in the capsule and was ok. Apparently some antidepressants are attractive to cats. He's also eaten a silicon sachet from some packaging. He's a bit of a silly boy #cats #TheArchers
