Maybe ‘moved on’ is the wrong description. Might have been better if they had moved on. What disturbs me is women who still claim to be feminists but have redefined the task in such a way as to make it unrecognisable. Feminism isn’t an empty handbag to fill with any ideas we please.

Haha, very good! I don’t really know what went on there, whether anyone specifically campaigned or threatened to sue them or whether WI is just taking preemptive action to prevent the possibility arising in future.

We have a local branch and I know some members of our churches are members of it. We also have a branch of the Soroptimists which I hadn’t heard of before. Have you come across them?
