We are not currently at work due to taking part in strike action called by Unite, the trade union for UCU staff, over our Campaign for a Safe & Professional Workplace Culture. Our strikes this week run for 3 days from 23 to 25 April.

“l'm livid that those same dedicated colleagues, who should currently be focusing on pulling together to fight to protect UCU members, are instead being forced off sick or, worse, are resigning, one by one by devastated one, having reached the end after being repeatedly victimised, bullied and silenced?” “What faith can UCU members have that the UCU senior managers actually believe in the principles of trade unionism when they are imposing agreements and portraying industrial action as being stirred up by a few troublemakers... I've been angry when distorted messages from the management team and the union President have come out."
