When Russia began bombarding farmers in Kherson with FPV drones, Oleksandr Hordienko fought back, shooting down over 80 with his rifle.

Russians took notice.

“They’re hunting me,” he said.

Russia's deadliest attack on Kyiv since Anchorage has damaged EU and UK offices and killed at least 17.

Among the infrastructure hit was a courier sorting facility and a train depot.

“Not a single train will be canceled,” the train company said.

A youth-led backlash pushed Zelensky to his biggest u-turn yet, delivering another victory for Ukraine's robust civil society.

“The real opposition in Ukraine has always been the people,” said an organizer, a veteran who was among the first to call for protest.

How a Youth-Led Backlash Pushed Zelensky to His Biggest U-Turn Yet
The Ukrainian president signed a bill that returned power to anticorruption agencies, the removal of which had lifted the lid on simmering discontent.

Another massive attack on Kyiv last night, a total of 309 drones and 8 missiles used, most of them against the capital.

In my shelter, a mom brought her 8-month-old daughter who slept through the explosions while she worked.

For two nights now, Ukrainians have gathered across the country to protest a law passed by Zelensky's party defanging anti-corruption agencies. There were easily over 5,000 gathered in Kyiv last night.

The protesters have also began proposing a name: Cardboard Revolution.

After last night’s Russian bombardment in Kyiv, a metro station — probably the most bombed one in the city — filled with smoke as people were sheltering in it.

Russia used over 400 attack drones and 24 missiles in last night’s air raid across Ukraine.

Russia launched 1,125 attack drones at Ukraine in the past two nights.

Recently, Russia launched more attack drones in a single day than in the all of July last year, per @cen4infores.bsky.social.

Another harrowing night in Kyiv and my neighbourhood is getting pummelled.

A boy ran into my shelter with his family earlier, crying. “I thought this was my last night,” he told his grandma as she cuddled him.

Then, at 3:00 am: “I’m 8 years old now! It’s already my birthday!”

After bombardments like yesterday's, Kyivans say hello with the words "was it loud where you were?" and later, when departing, wish each other quiet.

Saw Lolita from my shelter going about her neighbourhood business today. Felt like a celebrity sighting.
