We urge world leaders gathering at the UN General Assembly to end the genocide against Palestinians in #Gaza.

Our staff in Gaza are doing all they can to save lives while weapons of war continue to maim and kill Palestinians. Doctors can’t stop this genocide. World leaders can.

I’m trying to remember how we met on FB, was it Slim or Anita? I’ll tell you who has been relentless great on FB documenting “changes” challenges & media is Anita Casalina. (hosts podcast Navigating). We don’t hear these details in the UK, so I’m grateful for her FB posts. Miss yours xx

Many in the UK were outraged Trump was given a 2nd State Visit - by a Labour Govt! 😬 It was the least they could do. Would be easier to count when he tells the truth (not that often). Yet even a 100 untruths took several hours on #C4news to document the context, then fact-check. A grim marathon.

Brilliant to connect again! Glad to hear all is well. All good here. I've been following the "changes" - lots of friends in the US from when I lived there, California, keeping me updated. My Facebook comments are awash with analysis. It's a shame you got locked out, but great to know you are here. 🥰

Great to see the US climate scientists that Trump fired, fight back by setting up a parallel infrastructure website - climate.us - a crowdsourced nonprofit that aims to rebuild an independent version of the Government climate website that was closed down.

Recommend you watch this 7 minute video report by Alex Thomson at Channel 4 news. He investigates the catastrophic Chinese copper mining disaster in Zambia (arsenic flooding key river) and the PR coverup - paid off victims to remain silent by China & Zambian Govt. www.channel4.com/news/inside-...
Inside China’s Zambian copper mine disaster
It's being called an environmental catastrophe - that's been followed by an alleged government and industry coverup.

World's biggest offshore windfarm gets final major consent

Berwick Bank east of the Scottish Borders coast would be 4.1GW

(4.1GW is astonishing. I'm old enough to remember everyone getting excited about the London Array's 0.64GW in 2013!)

Two thirds of the British public would support “schools, parks, playgrounds & other public spaces" being pesticide free

Time for a ban

FUN FACT: Companies like INEOS want plastic production to TRIPLE by 2050.

But people want the opposite - we want a safer, less plastic polluted future.

Who’s sick of corporations destroying our planet?

NEW: The government has delayed the implementation of the welfare reforms.

They were due to come into effect in November 2026. They will now come into effect after the conclusion of a review by Stephen Timms.

The contentious four-point rule has reportedly been entirely removed from tonight’s bill.
