I said at the time that I hoped the vote leavers were right, because it would mean disastrous if Project Fear was actually Project Rational Response!
The Tories took us into this mess, spent years miring us in the mess then walked away from this mess.

This is so true! The Brexit vote was a disaster and it was the start of normalising racism, hate of anyone different and populist narratives. (These things existed before but were gradually eroding because they were seen as regressive & wrong)
