Because I understood how easily it can happen, since I was doing it too. People listening to music so loud they can't hear anyone is *still* annoying, but the part about walking down the middle of the path is less so.

I used to get more annoyed with people that did this, until I started going running frequently and found myself (without headphones) gravitating towards walking and running along the yellow centre line, like a moth to the flame.

Hopefully there will be a positive impact from these quick, temporary measures and the city will install real bollards. The kind that can total a vehicle if they make contact. The plastic sticks get flattened so easily.

The *only if* is a real FAFO moment that is barreling towards us as we speak

Not disagreeing, but wanted to add that we can support a larger population but *only if* the resources are used responsibly and distributed equitably

I seems like anything that’s provided without a fee is viewed as socialism therefore it’s bad. 🤷‍♂️

…except for parking and access to roads… those being free is definitely not socialism. 🙄
