The big museums are good but Het Schip is just charming and, as others have said, really informative. For drinks try Café de Pels or if you want quirky Café Welling behind Het Concertgebouw. Might be too cold for t’Blauwe Theehuis in Vondelpark. Also take the ferry across to Noord.
