Politicians under selective microscopes? Now you mention it, a Labour councillor calls for peoples' throats to be sl!t & nothing happened. We're simply unable apply standards equitably across our society at any level. Hence the current febrile atmosphere across the UK.

True. But if our senior elected politicians of all flavours, require the press to highlight the error of their ways, we're in a bad place. This just the latest in a long recent history of MPs being caught out.

The only problem I have, is she bought the flat in May, and didn't seek further legal advice until spotted in Hove and the press ran the story in Aug....
