I don’t think I’ve ever started and finished a book in the same day, but Cory Doctorow’s “Red Team Blues” is the closest I’ve gotten.

Why do so many apps insist on their dark mode being bright white text and total black background? Ivory (and Tweetbot before it) have this nice subtle dark grey and light grey text and I find it so much more pleasing to the eye.
