It's pretty hard to beat the Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Napoleon, imo. It's his best work as a writer.

Ending the apartheid will not solve our problems in of itself, but the process of doing so—of building a political consensus for Palestinian liberation—would naturally result in our institutions radically changing. See: the democratic party and DSA.

(2/2) Not to extinguish the proletariat’s unfulfilled feeling of revenge, but on the contrary to stir it up again and again, to deepen it, and to direct it against the real causes of all injustice and human baseness—that is the task of the Social Democracy.

(1/2) Whatever the eunuchs and pharisees of morality may say, the feeling of revenge has its rights. It does the working class the greatest moral credit that it does not look with vacant indifference upon what is going on in this best of all possible worlds.

I feel like what people are losing in all these discussions is that like yeah 2nd campism sucks but it has basically no risk of catching on. Basically anyone with two brain cells hears what they're selling and says nah thats dumb.
if campists were more than .01% of the country, then i'd get it lol

The alternative is either letting these groups monopolize genuinely popular anti-war sentiment (which would be worse!) or doing something on our own and marginalizing ourselves. DSA isn't actually that big!

Whether or not he could win is pretty different from whether or not we should want him to

We(the DSA) have talked to him about it and think that he'll adopt more appropriate language in the future about Cuba and Venezuela. A similar conversation happened between his framing on Israel "right to exist" vs "right to exist as a state with equal rights."

They're all irrelevant. A multi-tendency socialist party, like the DSA in the US, is the best way to mobilize people and develop the socialist movement. That being said if they don't manage to surpass corbyn i'd be happy to abandon them. Collective leadership passing is a good sign for Sultana.

I would forcefully argue for this resolution and I want to kick transphobes out of every space possible. That is done by enshring trans liberation as a core principle and kicking out the shitty leaders who stand in the way. That is done via passing a resolution like this.
